During a routine inspection
Care and treatment was provided by skilled professionals who were able to offer people the help and support they required to maintain their visual health and wellbeing. We received the following comments from people: "I have received an excellent service. The staff understand my condition. I had an examination and gained a diagnosis. I was very happy with that." and "I was told in great detail about my treatment. I had no issues. I was perfectly treated from start to finish.'
The systems in place for receiving, recording and storing medication were suitable to help to protect all parties.
Recruitment processes were in place to help to protect people from staff who may not be suitable to work in the care industry. Staff undertook continued professional development to keep their skills up to date.
People we spoke with had no complaints to raise about the service. We saw that there were systems in place to deal with any complaints. A person we spoke with said 'I have no complaints regarding any aspect of my care or treatment If I had I would raise them.'
