We carried out an assessment of Window to the Womb Leeds on 8 June 2026. This was a comprehensive assessment of the service. We assessed all quality statements from the safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led key questions.

The service provided private diagnostic imaging for self-funding adults and young people over the age of 16. It is registered to provide the regulated activity of diagnostic and screening procedures. The service offers pregnancy ultrasound scans to families from Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Halifax & surrounding areas. The service also offered pelvic scans, fertility scans, general health scans, and blood tests. Their website gave clear information on pricing, parking, public transport, local facilities and amenities.

The service has two registered managers in post and is registered with the CQC to provide diagnostic and screening procedures.

We visited all areas of the clinic, including reception and the waiting area and scan room. We interviewed 5 staff, including both registered managers, sonographer, phlebotomist and scan assistants. The service employed both male and female sonographers and this information was clearly displayed on their website. We spoke with 4 people and relatives who used the service and shared their views. We reviewed staff and patient records and observed 4 pregnancy scans. No special reviews or investigations had been carried out by the CQC in the 12 months prior to assessment.

The rating for this service is good.
