Date of Assessment: 18 August 2026. Belvidere Court Nursing Home is a nursing home providing support to up to 68 adults some who maybe living with dementia, nursing needs, or mental health needs. This assessment was carried out due to the age of the rating for the service. Fifty two people were using the service at the time of our assessment.
People received exceptionally responsive care that was individual to them. Care plans were developed alongside them, and care was delivered in a deeply person-centred way. People were at the centre of care, and the provider went above and beyond to ensure people received opportunities and experiences that were positive for them.
The values and culture of the organisation was embraced by the staff who worked there. There were systems in place to monitor the quality of the service, ensuring the service progressed, that lessons were learnt and a positive culture was adopted.
Staff were suitably trained and recruited and they supported people with exceptional kindness and dignity and knew their needs well. There were enough staff available for people when needed.
There were procedures in place to ensure the safe management of medicines, the environment, infection prevention and control and safeguarding. The principles of The Mental Capacity Act 2005 were followed and implemented. Staff felt listened to and involved with the service.
