During a routine inspection
People told us they had been consulted about their needs before they started receiving support from the service. They said senior staff had visited them to assess their needs and they had felt involved in the process.
People confirmed that they had a copy of their care plan at home. Some people recalled that their needs had been reviewed. One person's relative said a review was planned for the following week.
People said the care workers who supported them were polite and kind and treated them with respect and dignity. People said care workers carried identity cards, announced themselves when they arrived and were professional. Mostly they knew which care workers would be supporting them. People said over recent months there had been some changes in the staff team based at the office, which had resulted in improvements in the coordination of their calls.
People's comments included, "Carers are very thoughtful, I am quite happy with them"," They are really good at what they do, I love them all to bits"," They are very good, I am very pleased with them" and " I look forward to them coming, we have a nice chat".
