During a routine inspection

We spoke with five patients and asked them about their experience of the service they received at the dental practice. All five told us they were pleased with the service they had received. They told us they had been fully informed about the treatment they were to receive and were treated with dignity and respect throughout the treatment. They told us they were asked to give consent to treatment before it started, and were asked at the end of their treatment whether they were satisfied with the results.

Patients told us

'The service was very good ' no problems at all',

'He's (the dentist) really good, he's nice and kind and tries his best to save the teeth',

'They're all helpful ' it's a great place, I'd recommend it to anyone',

'It's one of the best dentists I have been to'.

Patients told us they found the practice and treatment rooms to be clean and confirmed that the dentists and dental nurses wore protective clothing when providing treatment. They also told us they were given protective goggles and bibs to wear during treatment. Their comments on hygiene included

'It's spotless, it's excellent,'

'I've never had concerns about cleanliness, it has always been spotless'.

Patients told us their appointments were sometimes not on time.
