We carried out this assessment from 15 July to 11 Sept 2026. This service was previously rated as good. Following this assessment, the rating remains good (published 9 July 2019). We carried out this assessment to confirm whether the rating of good remains accurate. This report does not provide detailed information on areas where we found practice continues to meet a good standard. Instead, our findings focus on any areas where the service needs to improve or where we found exceptional practice.

People received good-quality care and support which reflected their assessed needs and preferences. Care was reviewed regularly, and people were involved in decisions about how their support was provided. Staff encouraged people to make choices and maintain their independence.

Staff had the skills and knowledge needed to carry out their roles. They completed relevant training and received ongoing supervision and support from managers. Systems were in place to monitor staff practice and help ensure expected standards of care were maintained. A member of staff said,: “I feel very supported here”.

People gave positive feedback about the care. A person told us, “They are very good and look after me well.”

The provider had systems to oversee the quality and safety of the service. Managers carried out checks and audits to monitor care, identify where improvements were needed and support the ongoing delivery of good-quality care.

People gave positive feedback about the service and said they were happy with the care and support they received. They described staff as supportive and told us they were helped with day-to-day activities in ways that took account of their individual needs and preferences. One person told us, “They have been amazing.”

People were supported to be involved in decisions about their care and to make choices about how they spent their time. Staff encouraged people to remain independent where possible and provided support when this was required. People said they felt comfortable approaching staff and managers and were able to express their views about the care and support they received.
