Our view of the service

This is our first assessment of MYM Tamworth.

We rated diagnostic and screening services as good for each 5 key lines of enquiry.

We found 1 breach of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 in relation to governance. Some operational policies, procedures and guidance did not provide staff with clear instruction and were not all in line with legislation and most up to date guidance.

People's experience of this service

We spoke to 5 women who had recently used the service. They all provided positive feedback about the service and the staff and were happy with the care and service provided. Women told us the service was easy to access, and staff were friendly and welcoming. They told us they did not have to wait and could access appointments to suit their needs. We observed staff were welcoming and demonstrated kindness throughout all appointments.
