People's experience of the service

Updated 26 September 2025

On the day of our inspection, we reviewed patient feedback routinely collected by the practice. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Comments included, “Although I wasn’t fully well for a check up and a scale and polish, and while I was there, I felt a bit faint and dizzy, I was cared for more than the normal course of duty. The dentist gave me helpful comments about my head wound as well as about my teeth. The hygienist, as well as being capable and careful with my treatment, was also unexpectedly kind, offering to walk with me at the end back to reception as I felt unwell, and seeming to be genuinely concerned for me. The receptionist was patient as I needed a rest for a while before I could leave. I would like everyone to know that the thoughtfulness was much appreciated. I felt like somebody important rather than needing to be embarrassed. Thank you.”

Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness.

Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed.

Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care.

Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given.

Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources.

The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
