Patients we spoke with on the day told us they could always get an appointment when they needed to.

Equity in experiences and outcomes
Staff and leaders actively listened to information about people who were most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes. They tailored their care, support and treatment in response to this.
Staff treated people equally and without discrimination. Leaders proactively sought ways to address any barriers to improving people’s experience and worked with local services.
The practice identified patients who may need additional support and made reasonable adjustments to meet their needs. This included support for patients with dementia, learning disabilities, sensory impairments and language barriers. The practice had introduced changes to improve attendance at learning disability annual health checks by combining appointments and offering proactive support from a learning disability champion.
Registers were maintained for specific patient groups, including patients receiving end-of-life care.
