This assessment took place on 30 April 2025. This was a responsive assessment due to anonymous concerns raised regarding medicines management. A medicines error was reported to us by the service in November 2024. We received a good response from the Nominated Individual with actions taken to address the concerns raised.
Hatherleigh Care Village is a care home registered for the regulated activities of providing personal and nursing care to people living in the home.
People received their medicines safely and as prescribed for them.
However, there were some improvements needed to some areas of medicines management.
This service was not in breach of the regulations.
