Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
A. The registered provider must not admit or readmit any service users to Christopher Grange Residential Care Home without the prior written agreement of the Care Quality Commission.
B. The registered provider must undertake a review of the current staffing levels for each unit of Christopher Grange Residential Care Home. This must be based upon the need of the service users who currently reside in the home. The registered provider must provide a copy of this review and the staffing levels they have determined to the CQC by 10am on Monday 17 November 2025.
C. The registered provider must provide the CQC with an updated action plan detailing how they plan to ensure there is adequate and appropriate management and provider oversight of the quality of the care people receive. This update must clearly identify the areas you have prioritised as the most significant areas for improvement and how progress will be monitored and evidenced including who is responsible and timeframes. This must be provided to the CQC by 10am on Monday 17 November 2025.
D. The registered provider must ensure a review is undertaken for each current service user to ensure they have sufficient and appropriate risk assessments and care plans in place to meet their assessed care needs. An action plan detailing ongoing progress of this review must be sent to the CQC on a weekly basis by 4pm each Friday. This action plan must clearly identify the individuals who have been prioritised as most at risk and detail how you plan to address this including who is responsible and timeframes.
E. The registered provider must ensure there are suitably qualified and experienced staff to safely meet the needs of people living at the service. Staff must be competent in:
• Manual handling
• Fire safety
• First aid
• Safeguarding
The registered provider must provide the CQC with an update on staff training completed including actions planned to address gaps on a weekly basis by 4pm each Friday.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must not provideAccommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care in a specialist service to people whose presenting need for care or support is as a direct result of the person’s learning disability and or autism at or from Christopher Grange Residential Care.
The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 78 service users at Christopher Grange Residential Care.
The registered provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Christopher Grange Residential Care.
