Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 4 service users at 42 Hamstead.

The registered provider must ensure that the regulated activity accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care is managed by an individual who is registered as a manager in respect of that activity at or from 42 Hamstead.

The registered provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at 42 Hamstead.

The registered provider must not admit any service user aged 16 or 17 to 42 Hamstead without the prior written consent of the Care Quality Commission. The registered provider must provide written confirmation from funding authorities that the service user’s care at 42 Hamstead will continue past their 18th birthday up to the age of 24.

The registered provider must not provide accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care in a specialist service to people whose presenting need for assessment or treatment is as a direct result of the person’s learning disability and or autism at or from 42 Hamstead.

The admission of a service user aged 16 or 17 must not cause 42 Hamstead to operate wholly or mainly as a children’s home when measured across a 12 month period.
