The manager told us that their staff when recruited would be working in both residential and nursing homes. There were plans that staff would also be working to support people in their own homes. This was the part of the service for which Peercare had registered with us.

The manager told us it was their aim to ensure the staff they recruited would understand the needs of people who used the domiciliary care service and what kind of care and support each person needed. They told us they intended to develop the service in the near future.

We looked at the premises and saw it was appropriate to carry on the regulated activity.

They told us the service is "very much a work in progress as we have not employed any staff members'. They told us "we are actively recruiting staff and are ready to go. We know we can do it because we have the systems in place. We want to develop a good service.'
