Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients. We noted that a particularly anxious patient had requested a specific dental nurse to assist during their treatment, and the practice manager had set a reminder to ensure that the nurse would be available.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. “The lady at reception was very friendly and the dentist was very professional and put me at my ease”.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. “Always explains treatment considerate with pain control”.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with a patient survey. Of the 30 responses received during May 2026, 29 patients said they would be extremely likely or likely to recommend the practice to friends and family.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
