During an inspection looking at part of the service

We checked to see if the provider had made improvements following a previous inspection on 24 May 2012 and we found that the provider had made the required improvements. We found the surgery was clean, dental instruments were appropriately decontaminated, and there was a cleaning schedule in place to specify the areas and cleaning frequency required. The provider had appropriate arrangements in place for the management of medicines. This included monthly checks carried out to ensure the emergency drugs box was safe to use and medicines were in date. We found that the provider had appropriate systems in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service provided.
