Our view of the service
We conducted this comprehensive inspection in June 2025 using the newly implemented single assessment framework (SAF) and looked at all 5 quality statements. We rated the service as Good. The service had made improvements and was no longer in breach of the regulations. Governance systems and audits were now more effective in identifying and addressing areas for improvement. Managers enhanced their monitoring of staff competency and training completion, which led to increased staff confidence in supporting people with learning disabilities and autism. Staff demonstrated a strong knowledge of the individuals they cared for and interacted with them in ways that promoted their potential, met individual needs, and helped identify and reduce risks. People had improved access to both independent advocacy services and in-house advocacy support.
While the provider made improvements in relation to safe care and treatment, some environmental risks remained partially unaddressed. Following our feedback the provider acted promptly to address concerns and provided reassurances that the risks identified were being effectively mitigated.
