We carried out this announced off-site inspection on 12 June 2026.
Where we carry out an offsite assessment, we undertake a detailed review of the practice risk assessments, audits, policies, staff records and other relevant documents. We gather feedback from patients, staff and stakeholders (where relevant). We carry out a remote visual assessment of the premises and have discussions with staff.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was an effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
Together Dental Brentwood is part of Together Dental, a dental group provider. The practice is in Brentwood, Essex and provides NHS dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces were available near the practice.
The practice had 12 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 42 staff. We gathered feedback from and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 2 dentists, 2 dental nurses, and the practice manager. We also spoke with members of the organisation’s compliance team.
