During a routine inspection

We spoke to the person who lived in the home and they were happy with the care and attention they received. They told us they enjoyed the meals provided, liked their room and went out with the providers.

We checked on the records of care given and on the management of medication. We could see that the person living in the service was supported to eat well, manage their personal care and attend all appointments for check ups of their physical and mental health needs. The providers were dealing with this person's medication appropriately. Good, simple recording was in place for the care delivered.

The person in residence had a single ground floor bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a small sitting room that led out into the back garden of the property. This accommodation was comfortable and the person living there was very satisfied with their room.

During a routine inspection

We used a number of different methods to help us understand the experiences of the person living at the home. This was because the person had complex needs which meant they found it difficult to tell us about their experiences. However when asked if they were well looked after they were able to respond positively.
