During an assessment under our new approach

Date of Assessment: 29 July 2025 to 31 July 2025.

This is the first assessment for this newly registered service.

The service is a residential home providing support to adults of all ages living with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder or mental health needs. This assessment was in response to CQC receiving information of concern.

We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’. This guidance supported judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choice, independence and access to local communities that most people take for granted.

People received person centred individual care that was based on their assessed needs. This was delivered in an environment adapted to meet their needs and by staff who were trained and knew them well.

People were at the forefront of this, and care was developed alongside them with input from relatives and professionals. People were safeguarded from potential abuse as procedures were in place and followed. Infection control was considered. Medicines were managed safely. The principles of the Mental Capacity Act were understood.

Staff felt listened to and involved and spoke positively about the support they received from the company and the leadership team. There were systems in place to monitor quality of the service.
