Date of assessment: 15 to 22 June 2026
Heypi Care Services is a domiciliary care service providing support to people in their own homes. This was the first assessment since Heypi Care Services registered with the CQC. We undertook a comprehensive assessment reviewing all quality statements under the 5 key questions. At the time of our assessment 1 person was receiving support with their personal care.
Staff provided safe care and support. Risks to people’s safety were assessed and accounted for. People had any equipment they required and staff were trained on how to use it safely. Safeguarding adult’s policies and procedures were in place, and staff were knowledgeable of reporting requirements. Safe staff recruitment practices were in place and staff received ongoing training and competency checks to ensure they had the knowledge and skills to undertake their duties. Staff were trained and able to provide support with medicines administration, meal preparation and support to access healthcare services as necessary.
Staff worked within the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and involved people in decisions about their care. People were at the centre of their care and care was delivered that promoted people’s privacy, dignity and independence.
Systems were in place to review the quality and safety of care delivery, and the management team had good oversight of the service. Regular spot checks, telephone monitoring and care reviews were in place to ensure care continued to meet people’s needs. Staff were well supported and the management team promoted staff wellbeing. Staff were encouraged to speak openly, and staff confirmed the management team were approachable. There was regular review of key service information and there was a commitment to continuous improvement and development of the service.
