During a routine inspection

We visited Wayside Dental Practice on 2 July 2013, we meet with people who use the service, the dental and reception staff. We saw that the practice was well presented and that the reception staff were welcoming people into the practice. We were told by people who use the service that they 'always receive a good and friendly service' and that they were 'extremely happy' with the service that was provided. When we spoke with staff we were told that the practice was 'very nice' and staff 'loved working' there. The staff told us that the patients 'love our dentists' and many had been with the practice for a number of years. When we spoke with the dentist we were told that the practice adopted an ethos of 'prevention' and not just treatment, by working with families to educate them on good hygiene.
