Our view of the service
We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 2 May 2025.
We found the practice had met all regulations.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our inspection, could access care, support and treatment when required.
Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance.
Infection prevention and control procedures were in place.
The practice had systems to manage risks.
Woodlane Dental Practice is one of two dental practices owned by the provider. The practice is in Dagenham in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces available were available near the practice.
The practice had 2 treatment rooms.At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 6 staff, of which there were 1 dentist, 3 qualified dental nurses, 1 dental hygienist/therapist and 1 receptionist. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including the dentist, 2 dental nurses and the receptionist.

Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We have not received any feedback from patients at the time of writing.
