During a routine inspection

Patients told us that they had been using the dentist since he had started in Easingwold. They said that they had never been formally asked about the quality of the service. However they were very clear that if they had any concerns they would raise them with Mr Walker. They also told us that they could usually get an appointment at short notice and never felt rushed whilst seeing the dentist. They said they discussed treatment options and if necessary Mr Walker would refer them on to specialist services.

Mr Walker and the dental nurse are both trained in first aid and they have an automatic emergency defibrillator in the practice for emergencies. Both Mr Walker and the dental nurse maintain their professional registration and complete the required amount of training each year to support this. Both the dental nurse and Mr Walker indicated that they had worked together for a number of years and worked as an effective team. The dental nurse said they received good support from the provider and were able to discuss any issues.
