During a routine inspection

We spoke with two people who used the service and two organisations who contract with the service. People spoke highly of the service. The service and its staff were described as "Very good," "Excellent," "Professional," "Brilliant" and "Highly trained." People told us that they received good quality and appropriate care that met their needs.

We found that people who used the service were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. Staff had a good understanding of how to gain and record people's consent for care or treatment.

People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed. Cleanliness of the ambulance environment was maintained, recorded and checked regularly. People were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment.

People were protected from the risks of unsafe or inappropriate care and treatment because accurate and appropriate records were maintained.
