Our current view of the service

Updated 10 December 2025

We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 26 February 2026.

We found the practice had met all regulations.

There had been leadership changes at the practice and most of the staff team were new.

Improvements were underway to the systems in place to identify and manage risks, governance arrangements, recruitment procedures and learning through audit to ensure the practice consistently worked in line with guidance and legislation.

Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.

Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.

Bond Dental Mayfair is part of Bond Dental, a dental group provider. The practice is in Mayfair and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

The practice is located over 3 floors. Patients are made aware of access arrangements upon contacting the practice. Patients who needed ground floor surgeries and wheelchair access can be seen at another of the group’s practices located nearby.

The practice had 3 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 8 staff. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 1 dentist, 2 dental nurses, 1 dental therapist, 1 receptionist and the practice manager. The compliance manager and managing director of the group were also present to support the inspection.

People's experience of the service

Updated 10 December 2025

Prior to the inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We also saw feedback the practice had received through patient satisfaction surveys and online reviews. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and the care they provide.

Comments included “consistently demonstrates a high standard of professionalism”, “very good”, “lovely team” and “clean and welcoming”.

Findings from patient feedback questionnaires showed that people were positive about the standards of cleanliness. Patients responded positively that they were able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs, and they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs.

The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
