During a routine inspection

During our visit we were not able to speak with people who used the service. The provider kept records of treatment given to people. We looked at feedback from services that had contracted First Choice Medical Services which was positive about the service provided and they found the staff professional. Prior to working for the provider, there was evidence that appropriate checks had been undertaken on staff. When we looked at the staff records there was evidence references were being checked prior to employment and that people had Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks in place. There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs. There was an effective complaints system in place.

During a routine inspection

Due to the nature of the service we did not have an opportunity to meet with people who used the service.

As part of this inspection we looked at information completed by event organisers who had contracted the provider to provide a service on a number of occasions. The event organisers had been satisfied with the service provided. Comments received included 'First Choice Medical Services provided professional services and the service had dealt with an injury promptly and professionally.'

First Choice Medical Services was meeting all the standards that we looked at during our inspection.
