During a routine inspection
They told us that appointments were flexible to meet their needs and the practice was accessible, comfortable and clean. Some comments made were; -
'It's an excellent service. I have been coming here for a number of years.'
'Treatment options and costs are always clearly explained.'
'The service is good. When I have needed an urgent appointment I have been given one.'
We found that a survey had been completed by 150 patients at the end of 2012. This indicated that they were overall happy with the service received, had been involved in treatment decisions and had the treatment and costs satisfactorily explained.
We found that the people who used the service were given information around their treatment options, costs and health care advice.
There were systems in place to gather the views of the people who used the service about the care and support provided.
The surgeries and reception areas were clean. Equipment had been checked within the recommended guidelines.
The staff were provided with the training and guidance needed to appropriately support the needs of the people who used the service.
