During a routine inspection

People told us they were involved in decisions about their dental treatments and they understood the options available to them. One patient told us, "Everything's explained. I was told about the costs straight away and all that I needed done." Another patient told us, "They do discuss treatments with me." Another patient told us, "I was offered an interpreter, but told them I didn't need one. But I asked the staff to speak slowly. I understood the process."

We spoke with eight patients during our inspection. All the patients we spoke with satisfied with the treatments they had received at the surgery. One patient told us, "Every time I leave, they have done a brilliant job." Another patient told us, "I was scared about coming here, but all was fine. They were really good."

Appropriate arrangements were in place to protect vulnerable people from abuse, including staff training, policies and procedures.

Effective infection control arrangements were in place in the surgery which followed national guidance.

Staff received training and development support through continuing professional development, staff meetings and best practice guidance.
