During a routine inspection
We also spoke with the provider, the dentist, receptionist and a dental nurse.
The practice was welcoming and people we spoke with felt that they were treated in a considerate and respectful way. Several people made a point of commenting that the team was always polite and friendly. One person said, 'I'm a new patient, I was made very welcome by pleasant staff and the dentist.'
People said they felt involved in making decisions about the dental care they received. They told us they were given the information they needed about their treatment and the costs involved. One person told us, 'The whole process was explained to me, so I knew the best treatment for me.'
There was a range of information available to people attending the practice about the services provided and the costs. Information on maintaining good dental health and general wellbeing was available within the waiting area.
People we spoke with said the surgery always looked clean and they were satisfied with the standards of cleanliness. One person said, 'It's always clean and tidy.'
