Inspection carried out on 10 January 2013

During a routine inspection

The patients we spoke with told us that they had been visiting the practice for a number of years. One person said, I was a very nervous patient at first. Because the staff are very professional and friendly, they made me feel at ease. Another person said, They provide the best service, and everything is discussed in private before treatment is given.

We found that the provider was meeting all the standards we reviewed during our visit. Peoples privacy and dignity were respected, and people had been involved in decisions about their treatment. There was an infection control system in place to ensure that the practice followed the Department of Health guidance. Staff had been given relevant training for their role. There were systems in place for assessing and monitoring the quality of the service.
