HF – Trust Bradbury is a supported living service providing support to adults with a learning disability or autistic people. Supported living services offer tailored, personalised support to people living in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of the assessment 3 people were receiving support with personal care. This was the first inspection of this newly registered service and was completed to give the service a rating. We have rated the service good.

We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed autistic people and people with a learning disability respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.

Goals and the development of skills were not consistently recorded. However, staff were, without exception, positive about how they shared information as a team. They told us they communicated with each other effectively and shared any learning to support a consistent approach when supporting people to develop skills.

Staff supported people to have choice and control in their day to day lives. There were enough staff with the right skills and experience to support people to do the things they wanted and have a meaningful life.

The registered manager and wider staff team worked collaboratively with other healthcare agencies to help ensure consistent and joined up care.

Staff were well supported and had access to regular supervision, training and staff meetings. In addition, they told us they were able to approach the registered manager and deputy manager for advice and guidance at any time.

People's experience of the service

Updated 14 May 2026

We spoke with people and their relatives to gather feedback on the care provided, and observed interactions where support was being delivered. Feedback was consistently positive. One relative told us, “[Name of person] has the best life he could have.” People appeared happy and were occupied, either preparing to go out or engaging with staff in their flats.

We saw staff communicated warmly with people and were focused on their responses to help ensure people received the support they needed when they needed it. An external professional who had visited people using the service several times commented, “I have observed first-hand how individuals interact with their key workers, and consistently, there has been clear evidence of positive relationships. Individuals appeared happy to see staff and engaged with them in a way that exceeded expectations of good practice.”
