During an assessment under our new approach

We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 8 July 2026.

We found the practice had met regulations.

The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.

Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.

Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.

The practice is in Banbury and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

The practice had 3 treatment rooms. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 1 dentist, 3 dental nurses, and the practice manager.

The service provides cosmetic treatments, some of which are not in scope of CQC regulation and are not covered in our inspection.

During a routine inspection

People told us that they were happy with the service provided by the practice. They were asked to provide feedback following their examination. People told us they felt their comments would be acted on. People told us that the hygienist provided them with information about maintenance of their teeth and that a range of leaflets was available for them to take away. People we spoke with told us that their dignity was maintained and their privacy protected. They were encouraged to ask questions and were given options about the different types of treatment and costs available to them. We were told that the staff in the clinic had time to talk them through any anxieties that they may have had.
