During an assessment under our new approach
Date of assessment: 03 August – 07 August 2026. Amazing Hands Care LTD is a care at home service providing personal and nursing care to people in their own homes. The service is registered to provide support to people of all ages, some of whom may be living with physical disabilities or dementia. This was the first inspection of the service, and we reviewed all key questions and quality statements. The outcome of this assessment was a rating for the service, and we were assured the service provided care to a good standard.
The provider worked safely to deliver care to people and had clear processes and policies in regarding to sharing concerns. The provider understood their role in safeguarding and ensure staff had the right knowledge and experience to identify and act of safeguarding concerns quickly. The service had enough qualified and suitably trained staff, and managers had ensured staff were recruited safely. Medicines were managed safely.
People were fully involved in the care planning process and were able to state their preferences for care which staff followed. The provider understood and worked in line with expectations in the Mental Capacity Act 2005 Code of Practice (MCA).
Staff were kind and caring, people were treated with dignity and their preferences were followed. Staff ensured people had choice and control in their day to day lives and knew how to report concerns if needed. Staff were happy in their roles and felt supported by managers.
The service was well-led, with leaders who promoted quality care and support. Continual improvement was embedded at the service and regular spot checks of care, audits of records and supervision of staff took place.
