During a routine inspection

We spoke with four patients in private at the practice address. Everyone we spoke with said that they were treated with respect. People told us that they had signed to say they agreed with the treatment and had their treatment options explained to them. People said they were supported to make decisions and choices regarding their care and treatment. One person said 'I find my dentist very thorough. They discuss any treatment I may need and make me feel at ease. It is a nice atmosphere here.' Another told us 'The dentist always discusses any treatment and gives me advice.'

People told us they did not have to wait too long for appointments and that they were always welcomed in a friendly manner. One person said 'No problem in getting an appointment.' Another person said 'Sometimes you have to wait for an appointment, but that is because they are so busy and are good dentists. They fit you in if it is an emergency.'

People commented to us that they thought the surgery and practice building were clean. One person said 'The surgery is spotless and is always kept clean.'

We spoke with one of the five dental nurses who told us they were well supported to ensure they were up to date in their clinical practice.

People told us that they had not had any need to complain, but if they needed to they would speak to either the receptionist or to their dentist.
