During a routine inspection

We spoke with four patients during our visit to the practice. Everyone we spoke with said that they were treated with respect. They said they had signed to say they agreed with the treatment and that they had their treatment options explained to them. This meant that they could make an informed decision about their dental care and treatment. One person said 'He always asks about your medical history and checks if there have been any changes and updates your records." Another said "The dentist explained my care and treatment plan, in detail, before I signed the consent.'

People told us they did not have to wait too long for appointments and that they are always welcomed in a friendly manner. One person said 'It is very easy to get an appointment.' Another said 'There is never a problem to get an appointment here.'

People commented to us that they thought the surgery and practice building were clean. One person said, 'The practice is always kept immaculately clean.'

We were told by the people we spoke with that they felt safe and confident when in the surgery. One person said 'He is a very good dentist as the children are not scared to come.'

People told us that they have not had any need to complain but if they needed to they would speak either to the dentist or one of the dental nurses.
