Our view of the service

We assessed Direct Medical Transport on 10 and 11 September 2025.

We assessed 1 assessment service group at this location.

Direct medical Transport was registered with CQC in February 2019 to deliver the regulated activities: Transport services, triage and medical advice provided remotely. The service had a Registered Manager and a Nominated Individual.

At this assessment we assessed 1 assessment service group: Patient transport services where we assessed 33 quality statements.

We visited the following areas as part of the assessment: the ambulance station, associated offices and the ambulance during patient transport.

This is the first inspection for this service. This key question has been rated requires improvement.

At this assessment we identified breaches of regulations 12, 13 and 17.

We rated the location as requires improvement.
