Our view of the service

We assessed community sexual health services at Solutions 4 Health Newcastle from 1 July to 3 July 2025.

Solutions 4 Health Newcastle was registered with CQC in April 2025 to deliver the regulated activities: Family planning, treatment of disease, disorder or injury and diagnostic and screening procedures. The service had a registered manager in post at the time of the assessment.

At this assessment we identified breaches of regulations: 13 Safeguarding, 15 Premises and Equipment, 17 Good Governance and 18 Staffing.

At this assessment we assessed all quality statements.

We rated the service as inadequate. We found 4 breaches of regulations in relation to: the safeguarding of service users who attended the service, the condition and accessibility of the premises and equipment, the staffing levels and a lack of governance and oversight.

We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this assessment.

The service is being placed into special measures.

Services placed in special measures will be inspected again within six months. If insufficient improvements have been made such that there remains a rating of inadequate overall or for any key question or core service, we will take action in line with our enforcement procedures to begin the process of preventing the provider from operating the service. This will lead to cancelling their registration or to varying the terms of their registration within six months if they do not improve. The service will be kept under review and, if needed, could be escalated to urgent enforcement action. Where necessary another inspection will be conducted within a further six months, and if there is not enough improvement we will move to close the service by adopting our proposal to vary the provider’s registration to remove this location or cancel the provider’s registration.
