During a routine inspection
We looked at the surgery records. We saw people had treatment plans which took into account their relevant medical history, set out their treatment needs and explained the costs.
The practice had a policy in place for safeguarding vulnerable adults and child protection and staff were aware of what to do if they had any concerns. We observed that the practice had effective systems in place to reduce the risk of the spread of infection. People told us they felt the practice treatment rooms were clean. They said they felt confident in the dental care provided and some had recommended it to their family or friends.
We spoke to staff and looked at staff records and saw that staff undertook regular training. We looked at other records and found that the provider undertook regular audits to monitor and review the quality and safety of the service provided.
