During a routine inspection

Patients we spoke with confirmed that they were given a range of treatment options and that staff explained what these entailed. They told us that staff treated them in a respectful manner and were friendly and helpful. People's needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual needs. One person said that, following a full consultation, the treatment had been 'very good'. The other person told us that the service had been 'very flexible' when they had needed to change their appointment time. They said that the staff had 'helped me out very well'. They told us the service was also good with children.

Patients we spoke with told us that the clinic was always clean when they came in for appointments. We observed that there were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection, so that people were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment.

People were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard. One patient told us that the nurse who had been involved in their treatment was 'excellent'. The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive. The service had carried out a quality assurance survey and we saw the results of this, which indicated that patients were happy with the overall service provided.
