Updated 27 November 2025
We carried out an announced comprehensive assessment as part of our regulatory functions. This is the first assessment for the service since its registration with CQC in October 2024.
We undertook our assessment between11-18 December 2025. Sculpted by Doctors is an independent aesthetic and wellbeing clinic and delivers private (fee paying) services to people who choose to use them.
The service provided a range of treatments, but our inspection was limited to the treatment that was in scope of our regulatory remit. The procedure that came into scope through the regulatory activity of Treatment of disease, disorder or injury was intravenous (IV) infusions. These treatments took place in both the clinic and in the homes of patients that requested this.
The service had a good learning culture and had good systems in place to investigate complaints. The facilities and equipment met the needs of people, were clean, well-maintained and any risks mitigated. The service is run by a single doctor with support from a self-employed personal assistant. We found that there was a breach of regulation in relation to good governance. This was because medicines were not always managed safely, risk assessments were not in place for home visits and patient consultation notes were not consistently accurate or complete.
People were involved in the assessment of their needs. Staff reviewed assessments taking account of people’s communication, personal and health needs. Care was based on latest evidence and good practice. Staff made sure people understood their care and treatment to enable them to give informed consent.
People were treated with kindness and compassion. Staff protected their privacy and dignity. They treated them as individuals and supported their preferences.
People were involved in decisions about their treatment. The service provided information people could understand. People knew how to give feedback. The service was easy to access.
Staff understood their roles and responsibilities. The provider had a clear vision and were knowledgeable in the industry.
We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this assessment.
