Date of assessment: 28 May to 15 June 2026. Personal Touch Care Services is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people living in their own homes. CQC only inspects where people are receiving a regulated activity, for instance, personal care. This is to help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. At the time of this inspection, 10 people were receiving support with personal care. This inspection was conducted due to the provider not being previously rated.
People were supported by staff who knew them well. People’s care plans were person- centred to reflect their needs and wishes. Staff spoke passionately about working for Personal Touch Care Services and told us they enjoyed their jobs. Staff felt supported by the management team. There were enough staff to ensure people’s needs were met and people had continuity in care. Regular care reviews were undertaken, and relatives were involved in this process where appropriate. Leaders and staff had a shared vision and positive culture based on listening, learning and trust. Governance at the service was robust. Records were continually reviewed and updated. Staff practice was frequently observed, and this was used to drive improvement. Staff and the management team had good relationships with external health and social professionals and shared information appropriately.
