During a routine inspection

We spoke with five people who used the services provided at Smile Spa. They spoke very highly about the service provided and the staff team and confirmed they were treated with dignity and respect. One person said, "The service has been absolutely brilliant, you feel like part of a family. We are on Christian name terms."

We found that people were fully involved in their dental care and treatment plans. Detailed personal records were in place, which detailed all the care and treatment provided. One person said, "It has been marvellous, I am now much more confident." "I used to have a fear of dentists, but I have found them to be so good that I am now relaxed."

We found that people were protected from the risk of infection as care was delivered in a clean and hygienic environment.

We found appropriate recruitment practices to be in place and the practice had an effective system for dealing with complaints.
