We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 14 January 2026.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
The practice is in Crewe, Cheshire and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces, including dedicated parking for disabled people, near the practice.
The practice had 4 treatment rooms. The total number of staff was 10. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 2 dentist, 2 dental nurses, 1 receptionist and the practice manager.

Prior to our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 3 patients. On the day of our inspection, we saw patient feedback from a further 6 patients, who completed feedback forms during the inspection day. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included. “[my dentist] andall the team there are excellent.He is thorough, listens carefully and, in my experience, explains everything thoughtfully. I attend appointments regularly every 6 months, because I have utmostconfidence in the care I receive.This high standard of interactionis also received from the reception team, who are friendly and welcoming, as well as the nurses and fabulous hygienists. Their administration is excellent, with helpful text and email reminders, and a flexible approach when necessary.” “I appreciate this practice, am grateful that it is available to us,and recommend it highly.” "I can’t recommend the Practice highly enough. From the very beginning, the team have been incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional, which made such a difference especially when bringing young children to the dentist for the first time. The staff always take the time to explain everything clearly and put us all at ease" “The consistency of care over the years has been excellent, and I’m very grateful for the positive experiences we’ve had. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. “Appointments are well organised, the practice is clean and we never feel rushed.” Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken
