During an inspection looking at part of the service
We were shown the work undertaken by the service to ensure they safeguarded people who used the service from abuse. This included a check to ensure staff were allowed to work with children and vulnerable adults. Staff were provided with information to read and discuss, at a meeting, about the protection of children and vulnerable adults. This meant that staff would know what action to take and who to contact if they were concerned over a person's welfare.
We saw that further improvements had been made to the area where staff cleaned and sterilised dental equipment to protect the people by minimising the risk of cross-contamination.
