Hey Baby 4D Middlesbrough

Hey Baby 4D Middlesbrough provides non-diagnostic ultrasound scans to expectant parents in the local community. Services include early assurance scans, Non-Invasive Prenatal (NIPT) blood tests, sex confirmation scans and 4D bonding scans through the pregnancy gestation. Approximately 50 to 70 appointments were filled per week. This was the first inspection for this service. The rating for this service is good.

We carried out an on site inspection of Hey Baby 4D Middlesbrough on 13 May 2026. This was part of a comprehensive inspection of the service. We had not previously inspected this service.

• The service provided safe care and completed timely risk assessments. Staff understood how to safeguard people from abuse and neglect. Staff considered the impact of past medical history and worked well together to support all people using the service.
• The service kept up to date with evidence based care and monitored their own performance.
• The service planned care to meet the needs of the local population and received positive feedback.
• The service worked closely with people booking appointments to meet individual needs and had close links with other agencies.
• The Registered Manager had a clear vision and valued all staff. All staff were committed to developing the service.

We rated the service as good.
