During a routine inspection

We spoke with people who use the service and they told us that they were happy with the service provided. One person told us that the dentist provided the best dental experience as they previously had a fear of dentists. One person told us the dentist was kind, caring and professional, they also told us that the surgery was immaculate. One person told us the waiting time was good and they had the number for a medical emergency but had never had to use it. We found concerns in relation to the care and welfare of people who use the service and infection control.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with three people who had received treatment on the day of our visit.

They said they were happy and satisfied with the care and treatment they had received. They told us that the dentist always talked through the treatment with them. They said were given sufficient information about their treatment and the costs to make an informed choice.

They all said they felt that their confidentiality and privacy was respected.

All those we spoke with said that the dentists and staff were very approachable, polite and had the time to listen to their concerns. One added 'I am very nervous and they listened to my concerns and certainly put me at ease.'
