During a routine inspection

People that we spoke with told us they were satisfied with the service received, and this was reflected in 25 patient satisfaction questionnaires that we looked at. One person told us, 'clean practice, friendly efficient staff and excellent care'. Another person told us, 'my consent and medical history were asked before I received treatment. I was fully involved in the treatment planning'. However, people commented that the appointment system needed improvement to ensure they were seen by the dentist at the booked time, and the provider had implemented changes to address the concerns.

We found the provider had suitable arrangements in place for obtaining and acting in accordance with people's consent to treatment and care. People were involved in planning their care and treatment, and this was provided in accordance with their care and treatment. We found the practice visibly clean and the provider had systems in place to protect people against risks of infections. The provider had suitable arrangements in place to ensure that staff were properly supported to provide care and treatment to people who use the service. Appropriate records relating to people's care were kept and systems were in place to ensure the secure storage and archiving of records.
