Governance, management and sustainability
At the inspection on 6 May 2026 we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulations:
Improvements had been made to the system for managing risks identified from safety reports and risk assessments. We saw evidence actions identified in these reports and risk assessments had been actioned and managed appropriately.
Improvements had been made to the system for learning, quality assurance and continuous improvement. We saw audits had been completed for infection prevention and control, disability access, radiography and clinical record keeping. These had action plans where required to improve the quality and safety of the service.
The complaint policy was displayed in the waiting area. However, verbal complaints were not recorded to ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner. We discussed this with management who assured us it would be addressed and rectified.
Overarching systems and processes to ensure the safe running of the service had been introduced. We were assured by management that these will become embedded within the culture of the service over time and effective oversight would be established.
