Date of Assessment:13 April 2026 to 21 April 2026. Umbrella Medical delivers services across 4 sites in Walsall. Hatherton Medical Centre, Holland Park Surgery, Mossley Fields Surgery and Broadway Medical Centre. In 2023, Hatherton Medical Centre moved to a newly purpose-built building and delivers a service to 22,156 patients under a contract held with NHS England. The National General Practice Profiles states that 49.62% of patients are White, 36.24% Asian, 6.16% Black, 3.95% Mixed and 4.02% other. Information published by Office for Health Improvement and Disparities shows that deprivation within the practice population group is in the 2nd decile (2 of 10). The lower the decile, the more deprived the practice population is relative to others. This assessment considered the demographics of the people using the practice, the context the practice was working within and how this impacted service delivery.
