Governance, management and sustainability
At the inspection on 28 October 2025, we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulations:
The practice had taken action to address the issues identified at the previous inspection and improve the oversight and leadership at the practice. Effective systems and processes had been implemented and embedded within the practice.
The practice had reviewed their governance system that included policies and procedures, to ensure these were accessible to staff and were reviewed on a regular basis.
Improvements had been made to the processes in place for identifying and managing risks effectively, specifically in relation to fire safety, Legionella and staff recruitment and training.
A new risk assessment had been completed to reduce the risk of Legionella, or other bacteria, developing in water systems. Recommendations identified within the risk assessment were in the process of being actioned.
The practice had improved the systems and processes for learning, quality assurance and continuous improvement. Action had been taken to improve the auditing process and ensure these were completed according to recognised guidance, with learning points documented.
